A practical indoor setup

Rebounding at home

Make room for movement without guessing about ceiling clearance, promising silence or overlooking the space around your rebounder.

Measure the room, not just the rebounder

The BERG 110 measures 110 cm (43 in) across and stands 30 cm (12 in) high on its legs. Those measurements describe the equipment, not a complete exercise area. You also need clear space around the frame to get on and off, move your arms and exercise without reaching furniture or walls.

Before buying, mark out the footprint and consider how the room is actually used. A corner that looks empty may be part of a doorway route. Keep the exercise area away from doors that could open into it, trailing cables, sharp furniture edges and anything breakable. Keep children and pets outside the area during use.

Explore the two BERG rebounder options before deciding whether a handlebar suits your setup.

Choose a stable, level floor

Set up on a level surface and check that all legs are correctly secured, with the anti-slip caps making stable contact. Follow BERG’s instructions for suitable flooring. Do not improvise supports under individual legs or exercise on a surface that allows the equipment to rock.

If you are considering a floor-protection mat, check compatibility with the equipment and flooring first. A thick, soft or uneven layer may change stability. A mat is not a substitute for correct assembly, and it cannot guarantee sound isolation.

Rebounding in flats and apartments

The 36 elastic bands provide a quiet, smooth bounce, but quiet equipment does not make a building soundproof. Movement may travel through floors, particularly in buildings with shared structures. There is no verified decibel figure or promise that neighbours will hear nothing.

Start with small, controlled movements and sensible exercise times. If appropriate, ask a neighbour or another household member what they can hear during a short trial. Adjust the location or routine if needed. Avoid high bouncing simply because there appears to be room overhead.

Our rebounder guide for flats and apartments explores these practical trade-offs in more detail.

Make storage part of the plan

The BERG 110 has foldable legs. Check the instructions before folding or moving it, and choose an indoor storage location where it cannot fall or obstruct an exit. Do not assume it will fit beneath a bed or behind a sofa: no verified folded dimensions are available here.

Allow time to unfold, secure and inspect the equipment before each session. Keep assembly tools and instructions available, and check the frame, mat, bands and legs regularly. See how to look after your rebounder for a practical care checklist.

Choose with or without a handlebar

The BERG Fitness Trampoline 110 is the option without a handlebar. The BERG 110 with Stability Bar adds a handhold. Choose according to your preferences and control, rather than assuming a bar makes every movement suitable.

Both are for indoor use and ages 14+, with a maximum user weight of 120 kg (approx. 19 st). Use one person at a time. Start with short, simple sessions and avoid distractions that make it harder to stay centred.
