Begin with the instructions supplied
Good rebounder care starts before the first workout. Read the assembly instructions and keep them somewhere accessible, together with your order details and warranty documentation. A short online guide cannot replace model-specific instructions, especially where folding mechanisms, fittings or parts under tension are involved. If something is unclear, ask for help before proceeding.
Set aside enough time to assemble and check the equipment without rushing. Confirm that the parts match the supplied information and do not force components that appear not to fit. A rebounder should feel correctly set up before anyone begins exercising. Trying it briefly to see whether a doubtful connection settles into place is not a substitute for checking the assembly.
Make inspection part of each session
Before use, look over the mat, suspension connections, frame and legs. Check the stability bar too if one is fitted. Look for visible damage, unusual wear, loose connections or any change from the equipment’s normal condition. The useful question is not simply whether it was fine last week, but whether it is ready for use now.
Follow the instructions for any checks or adjustments. Do not invent a tightening force or use extra leverage because a fitting feels unfamiliar. If you notice instability, a damaged component or an unexplained change in movement, stop and seek guidance. Continuing for one more session can make it harder to understand a fault and is not worth the uncertainty.
Clean gently and avoid assumptions
Remove loose dust and keep the equipment free of spills. Follow BERG’s care instructions for suitable cleaning methods and products. Do not assume that a cleaner is compatible because it is commonly used on gym equipment. Materials and finishes vary, and a household product may be inappropriate for the mat, bands or frame.
If the instructions do not answer a cleaning question, ask the seller before applying a chemical, oil or treatment. Avoid soaking components or experimenting with abrasive methods. Let the equipment become dry before use or storage in line with the manufacturer’s guidance. The aim is ordinary cleanliness without altering the materials or leaving a slippery surface where you need secure footing.
Keep it in its intended environment
The BERG 110 is an indoor-use rebounder. Do not move it into the garden for exercise or leave it outdoors between sessions. Indoor storage should be dry and secure, away from conditions or household activities that could damage the mat and bands. Do not treat a covered outdoor area as equivalent to an indoor room.
Keep the surrounding space clear so the rebounder does not become a shelf for laundry, boxes or other equipment. Objects placed on the mat can hide damage or make it tempting to use the surface for something it was not designed to support. Keep pets away from the equipment and prevent unsupervised access by people for whom it is not intended.
Fold and move it as instructed
The BERG model has foldable legs. Use the supplied procedure rather than guessing how a joint should move or forcing it into a storage position. Keep fingers clear of moving connections, and do not work on the equipment while someone is standing on it. If anything resists unexpectedly, stop and check the instructions.
Before moving the rebounder, clear a route and make sure you can handle it comfortably. Ask for help if needed rather than dragging it across the floor or balancing it awkwardly through a doorway. If a bar is fitted, confirm the appropriate storage procedure for that version. We do not give unverified folded dimensions, so measure and ask before relying on a particular storage gap.
Do not improvise repairs
Elastic bands, the mat and their connections are parts of a working suspension system. Do not substitute household cord, unrelated springs, tape or parts chosen only because they look similar. Ask for approved components and instructions for the exact product. A repair that appears to hold while the rebounder is empty may behave differently during exercise.
Likewise, do not add lubricants to silence a noise without confirming that they are appropriate. A new sound may be a reason to inspect the setup rather than mask it. If something has changed, note when it happens and contact the seller with a clear description. Leave the equipment unused while a possible fault is being assessed instead of repeatedly testing it under load.
Use clear information when asking for help
Keep your product name, order information and a description of the issue ready. Photographs of the affected area can help explain what you have noticed, provided you can take them without unsafe handling or dismantling. Say whether the concern appeared during assembly, after storage or during normal use. Avoid guessing a diagnosis when describing the problem.
The BERG 110 carries a three-year warranty for home use. A warranty is not a reason to ignore routine checks or to assume every kind of wear or accidental damage is covered. Ask about the applicable process and terms for your situation. For gyms, clinics, schools and other commercial or public use, clarify the relevant warranty terms before ordering.
Care also means using it within limits
The BERG 110 is intended for users aged 14 and over, with a maximum user weight of 120 kg (approx. 19 st), indoors and without a safety net. The maximum test weight is not an alternative user limit. Keep movements controlled and do not use the equipment as a platform for unrelated tasks, a play structure or a place to store heavy items.
After a session, let the mat become still, step off deliberately and return the equipment to its planned storage position if required. A repeatable routine of checking, sensible use, gentle cleaning and secure storage is more helpful than occasional elaborate maintenance. When you are uncertain, pause and ask. Looking after a rebounder is largely about noticing changes early and resisting improvised solutions.
Find the right BERG setup
Compare both BERG rebounders before choosing. The BERG Fitness Trampoline 110 offers the clear-front setup, while the BERG 110 with Stability Bar adds a point of support. Read the product details, check your room and ask about anything that is unclear before ordering. The right choice is the version you can use comfortably and as intended, not the one associated with the most ambitious routine.
If you have a medical condition, speak to your GP or physiotherapist before starting. If you are pregnant, returning after injury or unsure whether this activity suits you, seek individual advice before starting. Stop if movement causes pain, dizziness or unusual breathlessness, and seek appropriate help for concerning symptoms.
